R. Rebellion began in November 2020 with three candle scents, a belief that beautiful things still matter, and a determination to build something meaningful during one of the most uncertain moments in recent history.
Today, R. Rebellion is a Western fragrance house inspired by the landscapes, traditions, people, and independent spirit of the American West. Every fragrance we create is designed to tell a story and evoke a sense of place, whether it reminds you of open country, mountain towns, desert highways, coastal forests, or memories shared around a campfire.
Founded and owned by two women, R. Rebellion is built by a team of women who design, formulate, manufacture, package, and ship our products from our flagship headquarters in Pendleton, Oregon.
Unlike many brands that outsource production, we create our products in house. From fragrance development and candle pouring to product assembly and fulfillment, every step happens under our roof. This hands on approach allows us to maintain the quality, consistency, and attention to detail that have become the foundation of our brand.
We also believe craftsmanship extends beyond fragrance. Much of our packaging, stationery, and printed collateral is produced on our collection of antique letterpress equipment, including presses that are more than a century old. These historic machines allow us to bring a level of authenticity and artistry to our work that reflects the heritage we value.
As part of our commitment to responsible manufacturing, we strive to be as close to plastic free as possible. Our fragrances are formulated without parabens or phthalates, and we continually seek better materials and processes that reduce waste while maintaining the quality our customers expect.
In 2021, we opened our first brick and mortar location in beautiful downtown Pendleton, Oregon. What began as a small fragrance company quickly grew into a destination for customers seeking products inspired by the West. In 2026, we expanded with a second location in Joseph, Oregon, nestled at the foot of the Wallowa Mountains.
Today, our flagship retail store, production studio, creative warehouse, and fulfillment operations remain rooted in Pendleton. Every candle, fragrance, room spray, diffuser, and paper good begins its journey here before finding its way into homes across the country.
